We charge for U/F/V removal primarily due to the additional time and effort required for its removal. Also cleaning biological contaminates comes with inherent health risks and can require specific protective equipment and specific cleaning and handling procedures, as well as proper disposal, all of which necessitates additional resources and labor.
First, we remove the mess from the vehicle taking care to not spread any airborne contamination from dried matter. Then we utilize a combination of safe and eco-friendly cleaning products, specially formulated to neutralize biological contamination without causing damage to the vehicle's upholstery or surfaces. In addition, our process may involve using steam to further clean and disinfect the area.
Due to liability reasons, we do not remove interior panels, carpets or seats to clean rodent droppings. We may remove snap-in seat cushions for convenience and access, as long as it can be done without risk of damage. If you suspect that you have rodent droppings inside your car’s interior panels or HVAC, we recommend you have it cleared out before getting your interior detailed.
